4. Remove the bolts (1) and disassemble the steer-
ing column (2) from the power steering unit (3).
P: Connect to the “PF” port of the priority valve
assembly
T: Connect to the “T1” port of the priority valve
assembly
L: Connect to the left port of the steering cylinder
R: Connect to the right port of the steering cylinder
(When reassembling)
1. Install the power steering motor by holding the
power steering motor up under the steering shaft
while turning the steering wheel slightly to engage
the splines of the steering shaft and motor. Push
the power steering motor up completely on to the
splines of the steering shaft. While holding upward
on the power steering motor install the 4 bolts with
spring washer and tighten.
2. Install the hydraulic hoses making sure that the O-
rings are in place, one on each side of the connec-
tor and tighten.
NOTE:
• Make sure not to connect hoses to the wrong
connection. Refer to figure.

(When reassembling)
• When tightening a hose band of steering hose T,
check the direction of the pipe band.
- A pipe band can interfere with a bolt.
• A hose classification
- Steering hose P: A red tag attachment
- Steering hose R: A white tag attachment
- Steering hose L: A yellow tag attachment
- Steering hose T: No tag
