OPERATION
3.12 Upper Cross Auger (UCA)
The UCA improves delivery of very bulky crops across the
header into the combine.
Removable beater bars assist in delivering material
through the header opening, but if wrapping occurs, the
beater bars can be removed.

3.12.1 Removing Beater Bars
To remove
beater bars, follow these steps:
WARNING
Stop engine and remove key before removing plugged material from header. A child or even a pet could
engage the drive.
1. Lower header to ground, shut off engine, and
remove key.
2. Remove bolts (A) securing bars (B) and clamps (C) to
auger tubes, and remove bars and clamps.
