3.12.2 Installing Beater Bars
To install bea
ter bars, follow these steps:
1. Locate one bea
ter bar (B) with one clamp set (C)
on auger tube a
nd loosely secure with carriage
bolt (A) and nu
t. Bolt head MUST face direction of
auger rotati
on.
2. Locate remai
ning clamp sets on tube and loosely
attach to bea
ter bar with carriage bolts and nuts. Bolt
heads MUST fa
ce direction of auger rotation.
3. Position se
cond beater bar in clamps and secure with
carriage bo
lts and nuts.
4. Tighten bol
ts.
