5.13 Reel

5.13.1 Reel Clearance to Cutterbar
The minimum c learance betwe en the r eel fingers and the cutterbar ensures that the reel fingers do not contact
the cutterbar during operation. The clearance is adjusted at the factory, but adjustments may be necessary
before the header is put into operation.

IMPORTANT:
Measurements must be taken at both ends of each reel and at the cutterbar flex locations with the header
in full-frown mode.

To m e asure the finger-to-guard/cutterbar clearance, follow these steps:
