5.13.6 Reel Endshields
The reel endsh
ields and supports do not require regular maintenance, but should be checked periodically for damage
and loose or m i
ssing fasteners. Endshields or supports that are slightly dented or deformed may be repaired.

WARNING
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of machine, always stop combine engine and
remove key before making adjustments to machine.
1. Lower header and reel, and shutdown engine. Remove key from ignition.
2. Manually rotate reel for access to endshield (A) to
be replaced.
3. Remove three bolts (B).

4. Lift end of endshield (A) off support (B).
