4.5 New Holland Combines
4.5.1 Attaching Header to New Holland CR/CX Combine
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected start-up of machine, always stop engine and remove key
from ignition before leaving operator ’s seat for any reason.
To attach a header to a New Holland combine, complete the following steps:
1. Ensure handle (A) is positioned so that hooks (B) can
engage adapter.

CAUTION
Never start or move the machine until you are sure all
bystanders have cleared the area.

saddle is
properly engaged in adapter frame.
4. Stop engi
ne and remove key from ignition.
