Installing Endshields
To install a n endshield, follow these steps:
1. Position endshield on support (A) and align the hole in
the endshield with stud (B) on the support.

2. Secure e
ndshield to the support with acorn nut (A).
3. Close en
dshield. Refer to Closing Endshie lds, page
34.
NOTE:
Plastic endshields may expand or contract when
subjected to large temperature changes. Top pin
and lower latch bracket positions can be adjusted
to compensate for dimensional changes. Refer to
Adjusting Ends hie ld s, page 37.
