8.5 Write protection
Overview
The write protection prevents unauthorized changing of the converter settings.
Function description
Write protection is applicable for all user interfaces:
● Operator panel BOP-2 and IOP‑2
● SINAMICS G120 Smart Access
● Parameter changes via fieldbus
No password is required for write protection.
Activate and deactivate write protection
