Error Messages and Codes
SMB Error
SMB failed. Windows 2000 or later is required. This troubleshooting procedure
applies to these errors.

• 031-525: SMB Error
Initial Actions
• Check client computer operating system version (Windows 2000 or later).
• Cycle printer power.
• If the problem persists, follow the procedure below.
