Connect data cables
The IX20 supports two typesof data ports:
n
Ethernet (RJ-45): Use a Cat 5e or Cat 6 Ethernet cable.
n
Serial (9-pin RS-232): Use a serial cable with a 9-pin RS-232 connector.
Mount the IX20 device
There are three optionsfor mounting the IX20 device:

Attach to a mounting surface by using the mounting tabs.
n
Attach to DIN rail with clip.
n
Attach to DIN rail with bracket.

Attach to DIN rail with clip
The DIN rail clip isan optional accessory included when the IX20 ispurchased with accessories.
