Depending on your device configuration, you may be presented with an Access selection
menu. Type quit to disconnect from the device.
Ethernet network bonding
The IX20 device supports bonding mode for the Ethernet network. Thisallowsyou to configure the
device so that Ethernet ports share one IPaddress. When both ports are being used, they act as one
Ethernet network port.
Required configuration items

Enable Ethernet bonding.

The mode, either:
l
Active-backup. Providesfault tolerance.
l
Round-robin. Provides load balancing as well asfault tolerance.
n
The Ethernet devicesin the bonded pool.
n
Create a new network interface for the bonded Ethernet devices, and disable the any interfaces
associated with those Ethernet devices..
