Configure the Modbusgateway
Required configuration items

Server configuration:
l
Enable the server.
l
Connection type, either socket or serial.
o
If the connection type is socket, the IPprotocol to beused.
o
If the connection type is serial, the serial port to be used.

Client configuration:
l
Enable the client.
l
Connection type, either socket or serial.
o
If the connection type is socket:
o
The IPprotocol to be used.
o
The hostname or IPv4 addressof the remote host on which the Modbusserver is
running.
o
If the connection type is serial:
o
The serial port to be used.
l
Modbusaddressor addressesto determine if messages should be forwarded to a
destination device.

The maximum time between bytesin a packet.

The port to use.

The inactivity timeout.
