10. Save the configuration and apply the change

11. Typeexit to exit the Admin CLI.
Depending on your device configuration, you may be presented with an Access selection
menu. Type quit to disconnect from the device.
Configure the RealPort service
After you have configured RealPort mode on the IX20, you must enable and configure the RealPort
service. When this step is complete, all of the serial ports on the IX20 are configured to use the
RealPort service.
Web
Log into the IX20 WebUI asa user with full Admin accessrights.
1. On the menu, click System >Configuration >Device Configuration.
2. Expand Services.
3. Expand RealPort.
4. Click Enable to enable the RealPort service.
5. For RealPort Server Port, enter 1027. Thisis the default.
6. Enable Encryption to enable encryption of data. This is enabled by default.
