Show geofence information
1. Select the device in Remote Manager and click Actions> Open Console, or log into the IX20
local command line as a user with full Admin access rights.

Modbus gateway
The IX20 supports the ability to function as a Modbusgateway, to provide serial-to-Ethernet
connectivity to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), and other
industrial devices. MODBUSprovidesclient/server communication between devices connected on
different typesof busesand networks, and the Modbusgateway allowsfor communication between
buses and networksthat use the Modbus protocol.
