TheIGMPgroupmembershipintervaltimesetsthefrequencyofhost‐queryframetransmissions
andmustbegreaterthantheIGMPmaximumresponsetimeasdescribedin“setigmpsnooping
maxresponse”onpage 11‐5.
Example
ThisexampleshowshowtosettheIGMPgroupmembershipintervalto250seconds:
D2(su)->set igmpsnooping groupmembershipinterval 250
set igmpsnooping maxresponse
UsethiscommandtoconfiguretheIGMPquerymaximumresponsetimeforthesystem.

set igmpsnooping maxresponse time

Usage
ThisvaluemustbelessthantheIGMPmaximumresponsetimedescribedin“setigmpsnooping
groupmembershipinterval”onpage 11‐4.

set igmpsnooping mcrtrexpiretime
UsethiscommandtoconfiguretheIGMPmulticastrouterexpirationtimeforthesystem.
Syntax
set igmpsnooping mcrtrexpire time
time SpecifiestheIGMPmaximumqueryresponsetime.Validvaluesare100‐
255seconds.Thedefaultvalueis100seconds.
Thisvalueworkstogetherwiththesetigmpsnooping
groupmembershipintervalcommandtoremoveportsfromanIGMPgrou p
andmustbelesserthanthegroupmembershipintervalvalue.
