TheCoSreferencetablemapstheuser‐definedIRLreferencesfoundinthe CoSsettingstable(see
“setcossettings”onpage 9‐20)toratelimiterscreatedintheportresourcetable(see“setcosport‐
resource”onpage 9‐25).TheCoSreferencetableindexescanbethoughtof
asvirtualratelimiters.
Thetableaccountsforthemaximumnumberofratelimiterssupportedbythedevice.Thevirtual
limitersthenmaptothephysicalratelimiters.TheCoSIRLReferenceTableisnotconfiguredby
default.
TheCoSIRLreferencetableuses100indexesorvirtualratelimiters,and
mapseachvirtuallimiter
toaphysicallimiterorresource.AnIRLreferencetableexistsforeachportgroup configured,and
isindexedsimilarlytoportresources,asportgroup#,port‐type,reference.IRLreferencesarenot
populatedwithlimiters(resources),butcanbeconfiguredbytheuser.TheIRL
referencetablecan
bedisplayedusingtheshowcosreferencecommand.
