TheCoSreferencetablemapstheuser‐definedIRLreferencesfoundinthe CoSsettingstable(see
“setcossettings”onpage 9‐20)toratelimiterscreatedintheportresourcetable(see“setcosport‐
resource”onpage 9‐25).TheCoSreferencetableindexescanbethoughtof
asvirtualratelimiters.
Thetableaccountsforthemaximumnumberofratelimiterssupportedbythedevice.Thevirtual
limitersthenmaptothephysicalratelimiters.TheCoSIRLReferenceTableisnotconfiguredby
default.
TheCoSIRLreferencetableuses100indexesorvirtualratelimiters,and
mapseachvirtuallimiter
toaphysicallimiterorresource.AnIRLreferencetableexistsforeachportgroup configured,and
isindexedsimilarlytoportresources,asportgroup#,port‐type,reference.IRLreferencesarenot
populatedwithlimiters(resources),butcanbeconfiguredbytheuser.TheIRL
referencetablecan
bedisplayedusingtheshowcosreferencecommand.
Example
IntheCoSIRLreferencemappingtableforportgroups1.0and2.0,createareferencefortheIRL
resourcenumber1createdforeachgroup.Thereferencenumber1isused.

irl (Optional)Specifiesthatinboundratelimitingreferenceinformation
shouldbedisplayed.
group‐type‐index (Optional)Specifiesaninboundratelimitingportgroup/typeindex.
Validentriesareintheformofgroup#.port‐type.
Validvaluesforgroup#canrangefrom0to7.Validvaluesforport‐type
canrangefrom0to1,althoughonlyporttype0iscurrentlysupported.
Forexample,portgroup3wouldbespecifiedas3.0.
