FRU Disassembly
Replacement Note:
■ It is important to ensure the two holes in the bottom of the switch
assembly properly engage the two bosses in the feeder housing before
tightening screws.
Optional Feeder Drive Assembly
(PL20.1.8)
Procedure:
1. Remove the optional 550-sheet paper feeder (page 8-78).
2. Remove the 550-sheet feeder (page 8-86).
3. Disconnect the feeder motor harness (J820) from P820 (located at the
rear of the 550-sheet feeder assembly).
4. Remove the three screws (two tapping, 8 mm; one machine, 6 mm) that
attach the optional feeder drive assembly to the 550 left cover frame.
