Theory of Operation
Power Shutoff to the Fuser
The printer shuts off power to the Fuser for the following reasons:
■ Fuser abnormality (U4)
■ Paper jam
■ Cover open — top, rear, duplex unit, stacker
■ Laser assembly (ROS) abnormality (U2)
■ CPU or NVRAM abnormality (U6)
■ Main motor assembly abnormality (U1)
■ Fan abnormality (U5)
■ Fuser Pause command issued
■ Xerographics failure
■ Duplex unit failure
■ Stacker failure
■ Option tray unit failure
