Configure DHCP options
You can configure DHCPservers running on your IX20 device to send certain specified DHCPoptions
to DHCPclients. You can also set the user class, which enablesyou to specify which specific DHCP
clients will receive the option. You can also force the command to be sent to the clients.
DHCPoptionscan beset on a per-LAN basis, or can be set for all LANs. Atotal of 32 DHCPoptionscan
be configured.
Required configuration items

DHCP option number.

Value for the DHCPoption.
Additional configuration items

The data type of the value.

Force the option to besent to the DHCP clients.

Alabel for the custom option.
Web
1. Log into Digi Remote Manager, or log into the local Web UI asa user with full Admin access
rights.
2. Access the device configuration:
Remote Manager:
a. Locate your device as described in Use Digi Remote Manager to view and manage your
device.
b. Click the Device ID.
c. Click Settings.
d. Click to expand Config.
Local Web UI:
a. On the menu, click System. Under Configuration, click Device Configuration.
The Configuration window is displayed.
