OPERATION
12. Lower header to desired cutting height using combine
controls and check load indicator. As an example
the image shows that the wheels are set to a range
between 2 and 3 on load indicator.

13. Adjust header angle to desired working angle with the
machine’s header angle con trols. If angle is not critical,
set it to mid-position.
14. Use the combine’s Auto Header Height Control
(AHHC) to automa tic ally m a in tain cutting height. Refer
to 3.8 Auto Header Height Control (AHHC), page 89
and your combine operator ’s manual for details.
NOTE:
The height sensor on the CA25 adapter must be
connected to the combine header c ontrol module in
the cab.

Adjusting Stabilizer Wheels
The proper se
tting requires balancing the amount of header weight carried by the oat and the stabilizer wheels.
Refer to 3.6.
2 Header Settings, page 44 for recommended use in specic crops and crop conditions.
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected start-up of machine, always stop engine and remove key
from ignition before leaving operator ’s seat for any reason.
1. Raise the he ader so that th e stabilizer wheels are off th e ground. Shut down engine and rem ove the key.
CAUTION
Handle may be
under tension, especially when the wheels are on the ground. Raise header so that wheels
are off the gr
ound before making adjustments.
