Department Group master (pilot) number. Use
this option to select the Department Group
master (pilot) number associated with the
Group Mailbox you are programming.

Operation
Calling Your Mailbox
To call your mailbox:
With a multiline terminal, your Voice Mail key flashes green and your Message Centre keys flash red
when they have messages waiting. If you do not have a Voice Mail key, your Message Waiting LED
flashes instead.
Multiline Terminal

Press your Voice Mail key (Program 15-07 or SC 851: 01 + *8).

Press the Vmsg softkey.

Press the Message key on the telephone, if equipped.
Your mailbox number is normally the same as your extension number. You may optionally dial a
co-worker’s mailbox - or use this procedure to call your mailbox from a co-worker’s telephone.

Press Speaker and dial 717.

If requested by Voice Mail, enter your security code.
Ask your Voice Mail system administrator for your security code.
Normally, your Message Waiting (MW) LED goes out (if applicable). If it continues to flash, you have
unanswered Message Waiting requests or a new General Message. See “To check your messages”
below.
