Before Servicing the Machine
• Before doing any procedure, always turn off the power switch and unplug the machine from its
power source.
To prevent damage to these parts, and to prevent interference with raising and lowering the top of the
scanner unit, always remove them before servicing the machine:
[A] Original guides (x2)
[B] Original stacker (x2)
[C] Rear output guides (x4)
Rear Output Guides
1. At the back of the machine, for each guide press down on the top of the guide [1].
2. Lower it away from the plate [2].
