6. Remove the carriage front cover [A]. ( x2)
• To remove the carriage front cover, remove the ink tube from the groove.
7. Remove the horizontal encoder sensor from the right rear of the carriage unit. ( x1,
x1)
Precaution
Check that the upper end of the horizontal encoder sheet is caught by the cutout at the lower part of the
horizontal encoder sensor.
