• Fold the electrode pin harness to the left above the carriage front cover line as shown in the
illustration below.
16. When the black print head replacement ends, reset the counter and perform the initial
filling sequence. (Print Head Unit)
Color Print Head Unit Removal
• When replacing a print head, never touch the main ink level sensor feeler. Doing so applies
compression to the head tank that will cause ink to spill.
• The black print heads have two main ink level sensor feelers [A], and the color print heads have
five [B].
