1 Check the Heater circuit for continuity
1.Remove the LVPS Shield Plate
(page 8-60).
2.Disconnect P/J47 from the LVPS.
3.Measure the following for continuity:
■ J47-1 <=> J47-5
■ J47-1 <=> J47-3
Do the conductors exhibit continuity?
Go to step 3. Go to step 2.
2 Check the fuser assembly harness for
continuity:
Warning: Allow the fuser assembly to cool
before removing.
1.Remove the fuser assembly (page 4-15).
2.Measure the following for continuity:
■ J4647B-3 <=> J47-1
■ J4647B-2 <=> J47-3
■ J4647B-1 <=> J47-5
Do the conductors exhibit continuity?
Replace the
