7.2.4.1 Segment conguraon
Each step of a sequence can call a "segment". A segment contains, among other things preset
setpoints (speed setpoint, PID control value, torque setpoint), a combined acceleraon/decel-
eraon for the speed setpoint and oponally a conguraon for the digital and analog out-
puts.
Details
As a total, 8 segments and one end segment can be congured.
The sengs are only eecve if a sequence is acve and the respecve segment is execu-
ted.
Only those sengs that are relevant for the corresponding operang mode must be made;
i.e. if the PID control is not used, no PID setpoint has to be set for the segment.
The following gure shows the segment sengs relevant for the operang mode 0x6060
(P301.00) = "MS: Velocity mode [-2]".
The table below provides a brief overview of the possible sengs of the dierent seg-
ments.

Seng Info
Frequency setpoint
Only relevant for the operang mode 0x6060 (P301.00) = "MS: Velocity mode [-2]". The direcon of
rotaon is implemented according to the sign.
Acceleraon/deceleraon
Only relevant for the operang mode 0x6060 (P301.00) = "MS: Velocity mode [-2]". The set me
refers to the acceleraon from standsll to the set maximum frequency. The deceleraon is eected
with the same ramp.
Time
Meaning for segment 1 ... 8:
Runme for the segment aer the expiry of which a switchover to the next step of the sequence
occurs. Only relevant for the Sequencer mode 0x4025 (P800.00) = "Time operaon [1]" or "Time &
step operaon [3]".
Meaning for end segment:
Delay me for acvang the output states congured for the end segment.
Digital outputs
Oponally: Set digital outputs to a certain level for the execuon me of the segment.
Analog outputs
Oponally: Set analog outputs to an adjustable voltage value for the execuon me of the segment.
PID setpoint Only relevant if the PID control in 0x4020:001 (P600.01) is acvated.
4Conguring the process controller ^ 116
Torque setpoint Only relevant for the operang mode 0x6060 (P301.00) = "MS: Torque mode [-1]".
4Conguring the torque control ^ 149
NetWordOUT2
Oponally: Set the NetWordOUT2 data word for the execuon me of the segment to an adjustable
value. The NetWordOUT2 data word 0x400A:002 (P591.02) can be mapped to a network register to
transfer the set value as process date.
4Output messages of the "sequencer" funcon via network ^ 304
In the following, all parameters relevant for the segment conguraon are given.
If the sequencer is acve, write accessed to all parameters are blocked that con-
cern the acve segment conguraon!
