6.2.7 Example: Jog forward/Jog reverse
This example shows the funcons "Jog forward (CW)" and "Jog reverse (CCW)" for Jog opera-
on.
•
The switch S1 starts the motor in the forward direcon of rotaon. The switch S1 in the
inial posion stops the motor again.

The buon S2 starts the motor in the forward direcon of rotaon with frequency preset

The buon S3 starts the motor in the backward direcon of rotaon with frequency preset

The motor rotates in jog operaon as long as the respecve buon is pressed. If both but-
tons are pressed at the same me, the motor is stopped.
CAUTION!
The jog operaon has a higher priority than the "Run" funcon, all other start commands and
the keypad key .
If jog operaon is acve, the motor cannot be stopped with the previously menoned func-
ons!

The jog operaon is stopped by cancelling the funcons "Jog foward (CW)"/"Jog reverse
(CCW)".

The jog operaon can be interrupted with the "Acvate quick stop" 0x2631:003 (P400.03)
funcon.
