Drives 8200/8400.
The behaviour of the Lenze Inverter Drives 8200/8400 in case of auto-
mac DC braking is dierent: In case of these inverters, aer the auto
DCB hold me has elapsed, the motor is deenergised (by means of pulse
inhibit) unl the setpoint exceeds th auto DCB operang threshold. In
order to make a migraon to the i500 inverter series easier, the seng
"1" serves to acvate the same behaviour in the i500.
10.6.2.1 Example: Automac DC braking when starng the motor
In order that the DC braking is automacally acve when the motor is started, the start
method "DC braking [1]" must be set in 0x2838:001 (P203.01).

The DC braking is carried out with the braking current set in 0x2B84:001 (P704.01).

Only aer the hold me 0x2B84:002 (P704.02) has elapsed, the motor is accelerated to
the setpoint.

Aer the start command, the DC braking is acve. Only aer the hold me 0x2B84:002 (P704.02) has elapsed, the motor is accelerated to
the setpoint.

The motor is stopped with the stop method set in 0x2838:003 (P203.03). In the example: Stop with standard ramp.
