Timing Status
Indicates the current timing state for the communications interface.
Configured
Green indicates the communications interface has been configured.
Major Alarm
This is a status indication that can be either Red or Green. Red indicates an alert.
Minor Alarm
This is a status indication of a Minor Hardware Alert. It can be Green, indicating no alert, or red,
indicating alert.
Remote Alarm
Red indicates that the remote communications module receiver is out of frame. Only applicable if the
“Channel Framing” feature is enabled.
Service Enabled
This is a status indication; green indicates the module is in service.
PLL Lock
(Phase Locked Loop). Green indicates that the PLL is in the locked condition.
Frame Lock
Indicates that the receiver is locked into the channel framing pattern. Only applicable if the “Channel
Framing” feature is enabled.
TX Activity
Green indicates that data is being transmitted.
RX Activity
Green indicates that data is being received.
GARD Comms Bus
Indicates which of the two communications buses is being utilized to receive and transmit data, 1 or 2.
GARD Comms Direction
Indicates the direction of transmission, either A or B onto the specified bus.
TX/RX Interface Clock Polarity
This will indicate the polarity of the TX and RX clock, NORM/NORM, NORM/INVERT,
INVERT/NORM, INVERT/INVERT. This is typically set to NORM/NORM. The settings
NORM/INVERT, INVERT/NORM, INVERT/INVERT are provided to work with non-standard
equipment.
