13.2.4 MAPPING OPTIONS
In most cases the system logic for the current differential relay application is pre-configured (mapped)
at the factory. The following pages will give the user a brief introduction to the mapping options
available when the current differential module is installed. For a more detailed discussion of system
logic configuration see Section 8 in this manual and the separate GARD Logic Programming
Manual. As every chassis logic configuration is unique the logic files have to be sent to the GARD.
From the home page Settings pull down menu click File Operations,” the following web page will
appear.

Click Send File to GARD 8000,” select and SEND the System Logic Configuration (.ZIP File).”
This ZIP file can have a customer assigned name and will contain the following logic files:
System Logic Database(.TXT File)
System Logic (.EDN File)
System Logic DSN(.DSN File)
System Logic PDF(.PDF File)
