8.5.4 TIMERS
The default logic has a series of timers that can be adjusted by the user. All of the timers are set in 1/4
ms increments up to a maximum value of 32.767 seconds. In the following table, N can equal any
function from 1 to 8.

This sets the length of time the function is transmitted after
the input goes away
Function N Transmit Time delay
This sets the length of time before an input causes a trip to
be sent
Receive N Pre-Trip Time delay
This sets the length of time a trip function must be received
before it is recognized
Receive N Trip Hold Time delay
This sets the length of time a trip output is held active after
the received trip goes away
Channel 1 Guard Before Trip Delay
This sets the length of time the channel must be good before
tripping is enabled
Channel 1 Loss of Guard Delay
This sets the length of time the channel can be bad before
tripping is disabled
Channel 1 Unblock Security Timer
This sets the length of time from when the channel goes bad
until the unblock trips become active.
Channel 1 Unblock Trip Window
This sets the length of time the unblock trips are held active
from the start of the unblock security timer. (effectively 150
m in the default)
This sets the length of time the distance trip output is
delayed after it goes active
This sets the length of time the distance trip output is held
active after it goes away.
Re-trip breaker fail delay
This sets the length of time the re-trip breaker fail output is
delayed after it goes active
Re-trip breaker fail hold
This sets the length of time the re-trip breaker fail output is
held active after it goes away.
