Scale

A user entered scale. The value measured by the card will be multiplied by the number entered here.

Offset

A user entered offset added to the signal. The value measured by the card is offset by this amount after

the scale is applied.

For example:

If a measurement of 0 – 10 is to be represented as a DNP value of -20 to +20, a scale of 4 and an offset

of -20 is used.

(0 · 4) + (-20) = -20

(10 · 4) + (-20) = 20
