2.2.1 BUILT IN WEB SERVER
The GARD 8000 System has a built-in web server that contains all the settings necessary to configure
and use the system. Communication to the web browser is done through a laptop PC. The GARD
8000 System will also support an optional Touch Screen Display (TSD) which is fixed to the GARD
Front Panel. Help screens are provided in the browser to assist the user in selecting the appropriate
settings. Section 5 of this manual gives detailed procedures for setting up communications to the
GARD via a PC. Section 7 gives detailed information on configuring a GARD Chassis through the
browser interface.
