Channel 3 Type
Can be set to On, Off, or Pass Thru.
Channel 4 type
Can be set to On, Off, or Pass Thru.
Modem Mode
Can be set to Standard, Status or Transparent.
Standard: Will enable Ping Pong, Addressing and Remote Reporting.
Status: Will enable bi-directional 16 bit status transfer.
Transparent: Will enable the transparent modem mode. (See 6.4.1)
Logic Type
Can be set to one of four logic types as follows:
Single 1, 2, 3, 4
Single 1, 2, Dual 3, 4
Dual 1, 2, Dual 3, 4 (Note; this will not work when channel 1 is set to modem).
Simple
Local Tx Address (0-4000 inc 1)
This setting is only valid if channel 1 is configured as a modem. This is the address that will be sent to
the remote unit to be compared with the remote unit’s expected address. Valid addresses are from 0 to
4000 in increments of 1. The default address is 0. In a typical application, a unique address should be
assigned to each ATP module communicating over a given network.
Expected Remote Address (0-4000 inc 1)
This setting is only valid if channel 1 is configured as a modem. This is the address that will be
compared to the received remote address. Valid addresses are from 0 to 4000 in increments of 1. The
default address is 0.
Max Channel Delay (0-40 inc 1)
This setting is only valid if channel 1 is configured as a modem. The range is from 0 to 40ms in 1ms
increments. This is the one way channel delay calculated from a round trip ping-pong message.
TX Logic Bus Start Bit (3-511 inc 1)
The range of Tx logic bus start bits can be set from 3 to 511 in increments of 1.
TX Logic Bus Length (0-48 inc 1)
For most applications the Tx logic bus length can be set from 0 to 48 in increments of 1. When
Channel 1 Type” is set to modem and the Modem Mode” is set to Status the Tx logic bus length
must be set to 48. Note; If this is not set the Tx logic bus length cannot be set to more than 32.
RX Logic Bus Start Bit (3-511 inc 1)
The range of Rx logic bus start bits can be set from 3 to 511 in increments of 1.
RX Logic Bus Length (0-32 inc 1)
