General Settings Definitions:
Module Enable/Disable
This setting will enable or disable the Ethernet TPS Module. When disabled it is removed from the
logic bus.
Default Ethernet Port
Sets which port is being used after a power cycle.
Ethernet Port Switching
When enabled the module will switch to the secondary port if a failure is detected. If disabled the
module will always use the current port. Note: If Ethernet Switching is disabled and the second port is
not connected to fiber, there will be no minor alarm.
TX Logic Bus Start Bit (3-511 inc 1)
The range of TX logic bus start bits can be set from 3 to 511 in increments of 1, refer to the System
Logic PDF for help.
TX Logic Bus Length (11-100 inc 1)
The TX logic bus length can be set from 11 to 100 in increments of 1, refer to the System Logic PDF
for help.
RX Logic Bus Start Bit (3-511 inc 1)
The range of received logic bus start bits can be set from 3 to 511 in increments of 1, refer to the
System Logic PDF for help.
RX Logic Bus Length (0-90 inc 1)
The RX logic bus length can be set from 0 to 90 in increments of 1, refer to the System Logic PDF for
help.
IP Address for Port 1 and 2 (xxx:xxx:xxx:xxx)
Configures the IP address of the corresponding fiber ethernet port.
Netmask for Port 1 and 2 (xxx:xxx:xxx:xxx)
Configures the subnet mask of the corresponding fiber ethernet port.
Gateway Address for Port 1 and 2 (xxx:xxx:xxx:xxx)
Configures the gateway IP address for the corresponding fiber ethernet port.
GARD Transmit – IED Name
Sets the name of the transmitting IED, to allow communication between two IEC 61850 compliant
devices.
