Voltage Thresholds Definitions:
There are voltage threshold settings for the following values: Each one has two or three different set
points with different delay settings.
Phase Overvoltage (59P-1,2,3)
Ground Overvoltage (59G-1,2)
Phase Undervoltage (27-1,2,3)
For each point, there are four settings as shown in the following for 59P-1.
Enable Phase Overvoltage (59P-1)
When this is enabled, the corresponding status indication and logic bit will be driven when the
measured value exceeds the pickup value for the required time delay.
59P-1 Pick Up
This setting determines the threshold point
59P-1 Time Delay
This sets a minimum delay, during which the measured value must exceed the threshold before the
indications are set.
59P-1 Logic
This sets whether elements for each phase are set to AND or OR before going to the status page and
logic bits. This does not apply to ground units
In addition, there is a setting for each function called Drop Out Ratio. This determines the hysteresis
for the voltage elements.
Once all the settings have been entered click save.
