Checking Self-Locking Center-Link Hook
Periodically check the operation of the hook locking mechanism as follows and ensure that it is working properly:
WARNING
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the key
from the ignition before leaving the operator’s seat for any reason.

1. If a header is attached to the windrower, lower header to
the ground.
2. Turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition.
3. Pull up on handle (A) to release the locking device, and lift
the hook off the header pin.

4. Lower handle (A) into the locked position.
5. Push up on lock pin (B) only (not the actuator rod [C]).
Handle should catch on casting and pin should NOT lift.

6. Push up on the actuator rod. The lock pin should lift with
the handle.
