OPERATION
CAUTION
Check to be sure a ll bystanders have cleared the area.
IMPORTANT:
Remove protective cover from exhaust stack prior to
starting engine.
2. Start the engine and activate the header down
button (A) on the ground speed lever (GSL) to fully
retract header lift cylinders.

3. Drive the w
indrower slowly forward until the windrower
feet (A) e
nter the header boots (B). Continue driving
slowly fo
rward until the feet engage the boots and the
header nu
dges forward.

4. Stop en
gine and remove key from ignition.
5. Loose
n nut (A) and rotate barrel (B) to adjust length
until
the link is aligned with the header bracket.
6. Insta
ll clevis pin (C) and secure with cotter pin (D).
7. Adjus
t length of link to achieve proper header angle
by rot
ating barrel (B). Tighten nut (A) against barrel (a
slig
ht tap with a hammer is sufficient).
