Introduction
This manual contains information on the MacDon M155 Self-Propelled Windrower which, when coupled with one
of MacDon’s auger, rotary, or draper headers, provides a package designed to cut and lay in windrows a variety of
grain, hay, and specialty crops.
The M155 Windrower is Dual Direction
®
, meaning that the windrower can be driven in the cab-forward or the
engine-forward modes. Right and left designations are therefore determined by the operator ’s position, facing the
direction of travel. This manual uses the terms “right cab-forward”, “left cab-forward”, “right engine-forward”, and
“left e ng ine-forward” when referencing specific locations on the machine.
Use this manual as your first source of information about the machine. Use the Table of Contents and the Index to
guide you to specific areas. Study the Table of Contents to familiarize yourself with how the materia l is organized.
If you follow the instructions given here, your M155 Windrower will work well for many years.
