4.3.7 A djusting Caster Tread Width
The rear casters can be adjusted to a narrow tread width to allow loading and shipping without having to
remove them.
A narrow tread width also suits smaller headers by allowing more space to the uncut crop and provides more
manoeuvra bility around poles , irriga tio n inlets, or other obstacles.
A wider tread width is useful in heavy crops that produce large windrows s o that runover is reduced.
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove
the key from the ignition before leaving the operator ’s seat for any reason.
CAUTION
Park on a flat, level surface, header on the ground, and the ground speed lever in N-DETENT position and
steering wheel locked.
