1. Remove the left cover (p.234).
2. Use a dry cloth wrapped around the tip of a small screwdriver to clean around the openings
of the gate.
3. Use the bare tip of a small screwdriver to remove hardened ink that cannot be removed by
wiping with the cloth.
• Replace the left sump when a message alerts you that the tank is full (p.530).
