Recommended safety clearance for portable and mobile high-frequency communi-
cation equipment
The following separation distances are in accord-
ance with the specifications of IEC 60601-1-2.
Reduced separation distances to portable and mobile radio frequency communica-
tion devices
The following separation distances are based on
additional tests performed by Dräger to determine
the minimum separation distances absolutely nec-
essary. These reduced safety clearances apply
only to mobile high-frequency communication
equipment that uses the standards specified.
