External Bus Interface (EBI)
12.1 Introduction
This chapter describes the external bus interface (EBI) of the MPC5553/MPC5554, which handles the
transfer of information between the internal buses and the memories or peripherals in the external address
space and enables an external master to access internal address space. For an overview of how the EBI
used in the MPC5553/MPC5554 differs from the EBI used in MPC5xx devices, refer to Section 12.5.6,
“Summary of Differences from MPC5xx.”
