WARNING
• If electrolyte is spilled or sp lashed on clothin g
or on the body, neutralize it immediately w ith a
solution of baking soda and water, then rinse with
clean water.
• Electrolyte splashe d into the eyes is extremely
dangerous. Should this occur, force the eye open,
and flood with cool, clean water for five minutes.
Call a Doctor immediately.

DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected
startup of the machine, always stop the engine and
remove the key from the ignition before leaving the
operator’s seat for any reason.
1. If the batteries are installed in the windrower, stop the
engine and remove the key.
2. Open the platform on the right side of the cab, refer
to 5.3.1 Opening Platforms (Standard Position), page
309.
3. Add electrolyte in accordance with the battery
manufacturer’s instructions.
4. Close the platform, refer to 5. 3. 2 Closing Platforms
(Standard Position), page 310.

Removing Batteries

to service battery unless you have the proper equipment and experience to perform the
job. Have it do
ne by a qualified Dealer.
