Monitoring
SpO2 measurement connection
Two technologies are available for the SpO2 meas-
urement:
– SmartPod Masimo SET*
– SmartPod Nellcor OxiMax*
or
– Dräger Oxisure**
The SpO
2 measurement is carried out using the fol-
lowing connections:
A Integrated SmartPod or
B Multimed**
SpO
2 measurement with SmartPod SpO2
The technology to be used is marked on the con-
nection field for patient monitoring, next to the con-
nection for SpO2 (integrated SmartPod).
z Select the accessories (connecting cable and
SpO2 sensor) based on the technology used.
