MAINTENANCE AND S ERVICING
1. Park windrower on level ground and position
windrower so drain plug (B) is at the lowest point.
2. Shut down the windrower and remove key
from ignition.
3. Place a large enough container (about 2 quarts
[2 liters]) under the lower drain plug (B).
4. Remov e plugs (A) and (B), an d drain lu brica nt
into co nt ainer.
CAUTION
Dispose of oil in a manner that complies with local
rules and regulations.

5. After the l
ubricant has drained completely, position the
windrower
so that ports (A) and (B) on wheel are level
with the ce
nter of t he hub (C) as shown.
6. Add lubri
cant, refer to Adding Wheel Drive Lubricant,
page 414.
NOTE:
The type of lubricant used after first lubricant change
is different from factory supplied lubricant.

Raising Drive Wheel
This
procedure can be used on both drive wheels.
CAUT
ION
Header MUST be removed and NO weight box installed. Use a hydraulic jack w ith minimum lifting capacity
of 5000 lb (2268 kg) to provide adequate support for the machine.
1. Remove the header.
2. Park windrower on level ground and block all wheels.
