3.7.3.2 Switching ATU Silent Tuning On or Off
Softkey Softkey Type Description
Toggle 1. Press softkey 'ATU SIL' to toggle ATU si-
lent tuning on/off.
Possible values:
•ON
•OFF
Default setting:
ON
In almost all practical situations it is recom-
mended to activate ATU silent tuning, where
the ATU will be retuned only by pressing the
'ATU Tune' softkey.
Only where ATU retuning is required with ev-
ery PTT, set this softkey to OFF instead (for in-
stance if the antenna is permanently moving
and its antenna impedance is changing).
