When the enforced performing of
image quality closed-loop control is
performed, the automatic cleaning of
main charger and the LSU slit glass
cleaning are performed at the same
time.
Scanner 2 Is there foreign matter in the optical
path?
Clean the slit, lens and mirrors.
3 Is there dust or stain on the shading
correction plate or ADF original
glass?
Clean it.
Main charger 4 Is there foreign matter on the charger
grid?
Remove foreign matter.
5 Is the charger grid dirty or deformed? Clean or replace the charger grid.
6 Is there foreign matter on the main
charger?
Remove foreign matter.
7 Is the needle electrode dirty or
deformed?
Clean or replace the needle
electrode.
8 Is the needle electrode cleaner dirty
or deformed?
Clean or replace the needle electrode
cleaner.
9 Is the inner surface of charger case
dirty?
Clean inside.
Drum cleaner 10 Is there any foreign matter on the
drum cleaning blade edge?
Clean or replace the drum cleaning
blade.
