Fully pull out the EPU tray toward you while the transfer belt remains. If it is not fully pulled out,
the drum shaft and the drum flange may scratch each other and thus the flange may be worn
out.

1. Pull the duplexing unit lever and then separate the transfer belt and the 2nd transfer roller.
2. Pull out the EPU (developer unit) tray until it comes to a stop while the transfer belt is left.
* Pull out the EPU tray completely otherwise the transfer belt and the photoconductive
drum may scratch each other.
3. Insert a door-switch jig into the cover interlock switch on the left upper side of the fuser
unit in order not to turn the 24 V power OFF.
