REP 80.17 Bypass Tray Retard Pad

Removal
WARNING
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Refer to GP 10. Disconnect the power cord
from the customer supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity
can cause death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
NOTE: A new retard pad and feed and nudger rolls must be installed at the same time. Refer
to REP 80.16.
1. Remove the bypass tray, REP 70.2.
2. Remove the bypass tray low chute, Figure 1:
a. Remove two screws (1).
b. Remove the bypass tray low chute (2).

3. Remove two screws (1) that secure the bypass tray lower cover at the bottom of the
bypass tray, Figure 2.

4. Release three hooks (1) and three bosses (2) from the installation holes to open the
bypass tray lower cover, Figure 3.
